FILE - PORTFOLIO / REV 2026.1 SOFTWARE ENGINEER · INDEPENDENT BUILDER STATUS - SHIPPING

I build software that does more than just work.

AI systems, developer tools, and infrastructure-heavy products - designed from the architecture up. Schema and failure modes first, pixels last.

I'm a software engineer and independent builder. I gravitate to the problems conventional software handles badly - systems that must be autonomous, offline-first, brutally fast, or able to coordinate a room full of models and agents without dropping a beat.

Most of my work sits where AI, automation, developer tooling and infrastructure overlap. I design the whole loop myself: requirements in, tested running software out - including the boring parts everyone skips, like sync failure, cold starts and the 3a.m. disk-full case.

The interesting question is never “can it work?” It's “can it work here - at this cost, this latency, on this hardware?”
  1. 01

    Performance over complexity.

If a faster, simpler design exists, the clever one loses. Unnecessary infrastructure is a liability, not a flex.

  2. 02

    Automation over repetition.

Anything I do twice gets scripted. Anything I script twice gets a system. Repetitive work is a design smell.

  3. 03

    Good UX over exposed internals.

Users should never need to know what's underneath. Keyboard-first beats mouse-first when the work is real work.

  4. 04

    Architecture that survives reality.

Diagrams are cheap. I care about the version running on a degraded network, a full disk, and a budget that says no.

Autonomous Coding Swarm

RETRY LOOP SPEC / REQIMPLEMENT TESTREVIEW MODEL ROUTERSHIP PLANNER task graph · passes m-small · cheap m-mid · steady m-large · heavy each task → cheapest model that can do it properly pass 1 plan · pass 2 impl · pass 3 qa · pass 4 review
fig. 01 - agent topology / plan · impl · qa · review

A multi-agent development system that turns product requirements into tested applications. Planning, implementation, testing and review agents work in coordinated passes, while a model router assigns every task to the cheapest model that can do it properly.

The point isn't “AI writing code.” It's a system that owns the entire loop - spec in, tested software out - including its own retries, its own review notes, and its own bill.

fig. 02 - keyboard-first ledger / local postgres, sync when it can

An offline-first accounting & ERP platform built against the workflow of classic desktop accounting software - because a keyboard at speed beats a spinner on a web app. Local PostgreSQL, a Tauri shell, a Python/FastAPI bridge, and sync infrastructure that behaves when the network doesn't.

Every screen is keyboard-first. Every report is one chord away. The desktop app keeps working in a tunnel; the cloud catches up later.

Data Center Intelligence Platform

Data Center Intelligence Platform interface and map
fig. 03 - facility atlas / power, cooling & confidence layers

A research & intelligence platform for mapping data centers and the infrastructure around them: geographic visualization, power and cooling analysis, facility intelligence, and structured research reports in a single interface.

Part atlas, part dossier. It turns scattered public signal - permits, interconnects, water filings, satellite sheets - into something an analyst can actually reason over, with every claim carrying a confidence score and a source.

YASHDEEPINDEPENDENT BUILDER

Software is a tool for solving awkward problems.

I work independently with clients and collaborators on software products, web applications, automation, AI systems and infrastructure-heavy builds. I like owning the whole path from an idea or requirement to a reliable thing people can actually use.

For freelance engagements, I can contribute across architecture, full-stack implementation, AI integration, backend systems, deployment and testing - with a bias toward practical solutions that fit the constraints.
